Beware The “Profit Thief” of Your Advertising Campaign

Comparison to your competitors could be killing your advertising on social media.

We often have clients using comparison as their sole metric for success in social media advertising, but that just isn't a reliable way to build a good campaign.

Especially because when you compare your business to another, you are only seeing things from the outside.

Every business is unique, and that means there are subtle differences in how their advertising strategies should work.

Put On Your Critical Thinking Skills

The business owners that we see running into trouble with comparison are the ones that are usually following some “guru” or thought leader religiously.

While learning from experts is fantastic, it's important that you learn from them and then use critical thinking skills to adapt what they are teaching to your unique business.

Just because one advertising tactic worked for one business doesn't guarantee it will work for another.

In the video below, we share more about why comparison isn't always the best success metric in advertising.
