Mobile Friendly e-Commerce Stores

You may have great ads that are well-targeted, but if your websites aren’t mobile friendly, then you could run into some significant difficulties.

You see, when people make purchases using their phones, they don’t want to have to overcome obstacles — even small ones.

We often refer to those obstacles as friction.

Too much friction in your sales process slows down your success.

Friction In Action

Often, when someone is using their phone to make a purchase, they’re away from their wallet.

For example, the other day I was in bed and decided to purchase micro-greens after seeing a great ad that was perfectly suited to me.

I was all ready to go through with the transaction when I realized that there was no available option for using Paypal or Apple Pay.

I quickly lost interest in making the transaction even though I still liked the product.

Let's be honest.  It wasn't so much that I lost interest as I was just plain lazy and didn't want the product enough to get out of bed!

Make Buying Your Products Easy For People

Well, one great way to make things easier for phone users is to offer mobile friendly payment options.

Like me, if customers are forced to do too many things in order to complete their transaction, they may feel inclined to give up on it.

An overly complicated back end of the system can, in fact, detract from the success and creativity of your ads.

Those ads may be finding the right clients but if you end up losing those clients before the transaction is made, then you’re not being helped.

Targeting your audience through effective advertising is only one part of the equation.

Once you have the initial components in place, you still need to ensure that the customer experience is mobile friendly.

If you neglect to do so, you may just wind up with less customers.
