Business Storytelling: Making A Powerful Impact With Social Marketing

The video below is about business storytelling and how it can impact your social marketing.

Before I tell you more about how this can impact your marketing, I’d like to share a story about my childhood.

I had an uncle who was great at using his vision to create change.

As an immigrant, he saved his money and eventually established a pizza restaurant.

When he took my grandfather and I to a strip mall and showed us all the construction going on, I didn’t immediately realize that this is where his new pizza shop was going to go.

He had a vision that day and that vision was coming to fruition due to his hard work.

Eventually, my uncle sold the business to another uncle and took me to see another one of his visions.

He showed me a plot of wooded land with some areas cleared out. During that visit he showed me exactly where each building would go for what eventually would become an important commercial area in Cape Cod.

Social marketing should convey your own visions so that your prospects can see the importance of your business.

Business storytelling is effective because it makes you relatable.

This story is important to me because it showed me what hard work and vision can do.

It helped plant the seed for Divine Social.

We help businesses uncover their origin stories and amplify their messages.

I think about how powerful this story has been for me – how many family members it’s affected.

It’s amazing.

So, what stories do you have that you can share? Stories are important social marketing tools because they help other people connect with who you are and what you do.

Through business storytelling, you can impact people’s lives and share your unique vision.
